Super rare oak fire surround very possibly by mouseman
An extraordinary oak fire surround ,in my opinion it was made by an employee of Mouseman (.Kilburn) it belonged to a couple from that area it was obviously made to celebrate their marriage.as the initials ( CAR and GR ) one on each upright post show, it is adzed carved ,the separate uprights shown on the photos sit to the outside edge of the front uprights, the fronts of the uprights each have little Super rare oak fire surround very possibly by mouseman fixed on , it also has a fire curb and an iron kettle or pot hanger which would fix to the stone or brick infill surrounding the fire place , the condition is excellent
