A Superb Victorian Davenport Desk in Burr Walnut

A Very Good Davenport Desk in Burr Walnut, the lid opens to allow the writing slide to draw forward this has a light brown leather inset it is hinged so can be raised on a stand that is under the slide, the lid at the top opens to reveal small compartments for letters etc, the left side door opens to reveal a compartment with a shelf the door opposite hides four drawers, it stands on small castors the upper lid has a brass gallery, the back is polished. The condition is faultless the Walnut Veneers are very strikings with a fantasic figure, it has a lovely finish to the polish.
