A Super High Back Windsor Chair in Yew Wood with an Elm seat it has the crinoline stretcher and was made in the tiny hamlet of Rocklet near Retford North Nottinghamshire, the master chair makers at this workshop at this time were George Nicholson and Fred Walker so either of these would have made this chair. The condition is excellent with a lovely colour and patina
